Itinerary

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Middle Atlas – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert

• Morning departure from Fes through the Middle Atlas Mountains.

• Stop in Ifrane (“the Switzerland of Morocco”).

• Visit the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary monkeys.

• Continue through the scenic Ziz Valley with its palm groves.

• Arrive in Merzouga. Camel trek at sunset into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

• Overnight in a luxury desert camp under the stars.

• Dinner included.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert – Sunrise & Activities

• Early wake-up for sunrise over the dunes.

• Breakfast at the camp.

• Desert exploration options:

  • Camel trekking or 4×4 tour

  • Sandboarding

  • Visit to nomadic families

  • Photography sessions

• Authentic Berber lunch in Merzouga village.

• Return to desert camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

• Depart Merzouga via Erfoud, famous for fossils.

• Stop at Todra Gorges for a walk through its canyon walls.

• Continue through the Valley of Roses.

• Arrive in the Dades Valley.

• Overnight in a riad or kasbah with dinner included.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

• Breakfast and departure from Dades.

• Drive through Skoura’s palm groves.

• Short stop in Ouarzazate (“Hollywood of Morocco”), optional studio visit.

• Guided visit of Ait Benhaddou, UNESCO World Heritage site.

• Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka pass.

• Evening arrival in Marrakech.

• Overnight in a riad or hotel.

Day 5: Marrakech – Departure

• Free time to explore Marrakech medina, souks, or relax in your riad.

• Transfer to the airport for departure
