Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Arrival in Casablanca. Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque (if time allows) before continuing to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital. Highlights include the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the scenic Kasbah of the Udayas.
Overnight: Rabat

Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen

Travel north through beautiful countryside to Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. Enjoy free time to explore its blue-washed medina, local craft shops, and relaxed mountain ambiance.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Depart for the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its preserved mosaics and arches. Continue to Meknes, once an imperial capital, to see Bab Mansour Gate and El Hedim Square. Arrive in Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart.

Day 4: Fes Exploration

Spend a full day discovering Fes, one of the world’s oldest medieval cities. Visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, Nejjarine Fountain, Karaouine Mosque and University, and the famous tanneries. Wander through the labyrinthine medina filled with artisan workshops and markets.

Day 5: Fes – Middle Atlas – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Journey south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”) and the cedar forests of Azrou. Continue via Midelt and the Ziz Valley, lined with palm groves and oases. Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon for a camel trek (or 4×4 transfer) into the dunes to watch the sunset.
Enjoy dinner and a night under the stars in a luxury desert camp.

Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, depart toward Tinghir to visit the spectacular Todra Gorges, then continue through the Dades Valley and along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to reach Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech – Departure

Explore Marrakech, known as the “Red City.” Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy free time for last-minute shopping in the souks before your airport transfer.
