Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat

Welcome to Morocco. Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque (if time allows) before driving to Rabat, Morocco’s political capital and one of its imperial cities. Explore the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Depart for Meknes, the former imperial capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail. In the afternoon, drive to Fes, the country’s spiritual and cultural heart.

Day 3: Fes – Middle Atlas – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”) and the cedar forests of Azrou, home to Barbary macaques. Stop for lunch in Midelt, then continue through the Ziz Valley, lined with palm groves and fortified villages. Arrive in Merzouga by late afternoon.
Enjoy a camel trek or 4×4 ride into the dunes for a spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp under the stars.

Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, head toward Tinghir to explore the magnificent Todra Gorges, carved by the Todra River.
